We’re excited to share the updates and fixes included in this release. This version focuses on performance improvements, bug fixes, and new feature support across AccessAlly.
New & Improved
Metrics Dashboard
- Improved dashboard loading logic to handle large amounts of user data without crashing.
- Dashboard now loads within a reasonable time (target <5s; verified success on test sites).
Payments & Order Forms
- Updated Stripe advanced payment setup with support for Google Pay and Apple Pay.
- Removed outdated verification file upload step from AccessAlly Settings > Payment.
- Added support for Kosovo and North Macedonia in order forms. Orders can now be placed successfully with billing addresses in these countries.
Quaderno
- Fixed 422 error compatibility issue. Verified with the most recent Quaderno version (March 2025).
Bug Fixes
- Fixed database incompatibility errors on fresh installs.
- Fixed issue where Drip tags containing special characters resulted in incorrect permissions.
- Fixed bug where reCAPTCHA concurrency issue (02011) could interfere with toggles. Now handles multi-order form toggles consistently with a short wait (~2s).
- Fixed issue where AccessAlly Managed Passwords could be saved empty, preventing user logins.
Other Improvements
- Improved internal code documentation and coding standards.
- Added version compatibility requirements.
- Various quality assurance improvements.
CommunityAlly Fixes & Improvements
- Group permissions now refresh correctly when updated in offerings.
- Group settings access is restricted to admins only; non-admins can no longer view the Settings tab.
- Group display shortcode works as intended, showing posts and comments.
- New community members now properly see posts and appear in the Members tab.
- CommunityAlly discussion popup can be closed without creating a discussion.
