AccessAlly makes it possible to build a number of automation campaigns to engage with your existing members. Let’s walk through how the progress-based emails and notification automation is set up and works.
A progress-based email automation campaign is used to unlock content based on a member or student’s completion of a previous lesson, module, or course. You may consider using progress-based releases for your content and courses to help reduce overwhelm for your members or to allow them to progress through your course at their own pace.
This automation is typically triggered by an opt-in, the application of a tag, or purchase. An e-mail notification is then sent to each member letting them know the first module, lesson, or course is unlocked.
You can decide how granular you want to get with your progress-based unlocking, whether it’s per lesson, module, or course in a multi-course membership.
Once the first module or specified material is completed, a completion tag is applied inside AccessAlly and syncs with Keap. An access tag for the next lesson, module, or course is then applied in your automation and an access tag is applied for the next piece of content. This tagging syncs back and forth between AccessAlly and Keap thanks to AccessAlly’s deep two-way street integration.
You can also fire off an email notification to each member at this time sharing more details about their newly unlocked material.
This continues until all of the content has been unlocked and completed.
You can also, use this Keap automation to send a nudge or reminder e-mail to each participant if they haven’t completed the next step within a certain timeframe to motivate them to come back and complete the course. We all get busy, so these built-in reminders are a great way to help ensure your participants are achieving the results they signed up for.
This type of campaign is also a great way to help reduce refund requests and churn because members will stay actively engaged. If they have become inactive you don’t want them to fall off the wagon and end up canceling as a result, so building in these reminders along the way will prevent those refunds and cancellations from rolling in.
